Serena to make comeback at Australian Open

23 time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams is expected to return to competitive action at the 2018 Australian Open.

This is according to the competition’s director Craig Tiley.

Tiley insists she has already started practicing and should be ready for the tournament.

“She’s got her visa, she’s entered, she’s practising,” Tiley told the Herald Sun.

“There’s no question she’ll be ready in our view.”

Serena had taken a break in April to prepare for the birth of her child.

She successfully gave birth to her daughter Alexis in September
