    Fuel scarcity : F.G. urged to strengthen regulatory agencies

    The Federal Government has been advised to provide the necessary political will to ensure an end to the current hardship being experienced by Nigerians in the face of the current fuel scarcity across the country.

    A representative of the Petroleum dealers in Ogun state made this advise during an assessment tour of fuel stations by the officials of the Department of Petroleum Resources.
    He noted that the one of the main solutions to the present situation is to strengthening the regulatory and enforcement agencies of the government by making them more responsive and responsible to the yearnings of the populace as against the interest of the cabals.
    At Present, most of the filling stations in Abeokuta, Ogun state sell above the official pump price of an 145 Naira and this has been creating hardship for for motorists in the state.
