    New Airforce Pilots Winged

The Nigerian Air Force says the delivery of ten new trainer aircraft will go a long way in boosting indigenous training of pilots and aircraft technicians among other things in the country.
The chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, said this in Abuja during the winging ceremony of eleven new pilots who were trained in south Africa.
Among the new pilots are the first set of two female regular combatant officers to be trained as pilots.
Former chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Paul Dike, urged the new pilots to handle their new responsibilities with due diligence in the task of defending the country.
Their training which commenced in January 2017, was rounded off after twelve months
