Power Supply: TCN Tackles Collapsed Grid

Authorities of the Transmission Company Of Nigeria  (TCN) say  they are working hard to tackle the recent power outage experienced in parts of the country.
Addressing newsmen in Keffi     Nasarawa State Capital, the interim managing director of the transmission company Usman Mohammed blamed the weakness of the power grid on the sudden system collapse.
The minister of power, works and Housing Babatunde Raji Fashola hinted at the availability of about two thousand megawatt yet to be distributed
Nasarawa state Governor, Tanko Al-Makura also harped on the need to expand the network of distribution companies and guard against further collapse of the national grid
The national grid system collapsed at least three times  last week causing a massive drop in the transmitting capacity of the transmission company from the over four thousand megawatts recorded in December 2017 to about two thousand megawatts.
